Tin packaging refers to packaging made from .23 tinplate. Tin-plating cans adds beneficial properties like corrosion resistance and enhanced strength. Alternatively, aluminum is a treat metal, and more modern cans will use such metals for their malleability and, once again, their resistance to corrosion.

Tin packaging

At E2Global, we offer multiple varieties of tin designs. Our 2-piece tins are metal cans made by configuring the material into a cylindrical shape, with a primary end open to the body with an attached seam lid to seal the can. These varieties are simple to produce and provide superior sealing capabilities. A 3-piece tin also has a cylinder body shape with both the top and bottom end attached. It is particularly popular for packaging as it is easy for consumers to open. While 2- and 3-piece tins are more common, we also offer 4-piece tins.

IPackaging commonly makes use of tinplate because of its reliable, durable strength, which, combined with its non-corrosive and non-toxic properties, make it a suitable packaging material for most industries and products.
